Gay people are: creative, emotional, use party drugs, neat, promiscuous etc. Beyond the obvious context of humour, these stereotypes may serve to deepen the confusion & fuel hate. A campaign brochure may plead, ‘I’m just like...

I get my photos stolen quite often. I guess that’s a nod of approval to my work as an amateur iPhone photographer extraordinaire. I’m really quite good. It can determine the king of...

Every generation of music & its lovers face resistance from predecessors that are being taken over. But no music ever dies! It just goes out of favour - lies dormant, for a while - and becomes a legacy. There is no music too base or highbrow. Only musicians too proud or narrow. And there is no bad music. Only music badly played or music we don’t know.

When more people know you than you do people, you don’t write your story solo anymore. The public co-writes it with you based on their collective colourful (mis)interpretation. (Do not protest!) They are as entitled to their versions as you are to the considerable flattery they pay you having taken time out of their own lives to form an opinion on yours.
